Public Transportation information

Piazzetta Duca D'Aosta (formerly Piazzetta Augusteo) is in the section of the city centre closed to traffic.

The Central Funicular Station is located in this piazza.
(Time table available at www.anm.it, cost of ticket 1.10 Euro)

From the Central Station by bus: R1

From the Airport: The “Alibus” shuttle service runs from the airport to Piazza Municipio. Proceed 500 metres to Piazza Trieste e Trento, then turn onto the street on your right hand side (via Toledo) and proceed for another 100 metres until reaching piazzetta Duca d'Aosta.

Metro System: a 15 minute walk from the Montesanto stop
